New for 2020 is our off grid facilities block.
Our plant room houses a wood pellet boiler. This heats all the hot water for the underfloor heating and showers.
Solar panels on the roof provide all our electricity. This is then stored in the batteries.
We have a backup generator if needed.
Lapwing Farm also has it own water source via a bore hole. The water passes through a UV light filter and sediment filter enabling it to be used for drinking water.
